BBC News Kurds in Turkey: Crushed hopes after conflict in Diyarbakir 27 March 2016
As we all know, there has been lots of attack in our country. Most of us say that we don’t get the affection we deserve from other countries, because they are used to stuff happening in Turkey but we don’t talk about the fact that there is a war going on in our own country. Diyarbakır is nearly empty because people are afraid to go outside. According to the article lots of neighbourhoods are cordoned off by police barricades and lorries keep removing rubble from places that people used to live. There have been times when there was a curfew so people couldn’t leave their houses. We got used to our soldiers dying so when the news says there’s 1 dead, nobody actually cares. And it’s only because we got used to it. Just like the situation in Diyarbakır. We need to say something just like we said something when there were attacks in Ankara. Because there is an actual war going on and people should be aware of this.
BBC News Oculus founder delivers first Rift headset in person 28.03.2016
Palmer Luckey, the founder of Oculus VR, handed over the headset a couple of days before the consumer version of the Rift is officially due to start reaching customers. The recipient was Ross Martin from Alaska who ordered the headset when pre-orders opened in January. Mr Luckey said he wanted the "satisfaction" of delivering the first Rift headset. Special delivery in 28 March, the consumer-ready Rift headsets should start to reach people who were among the first to order it in January. Before now the only versions of the headset available were made so developers could familiarize themselves with the software and hardware in the device. The consumer-ready Rift has improved lenses and electronics to make VR as immersive as possible. I personally have Gear VR which is a device made by the cooperation of Samsung and Oculus VR. And all I can say about this is amazing. I just adored VR technology and as soon as my gaming setup is ready to handle some VR gaming I will buy this device.
Moon Village Envisioned by the European Space Agency The head of the multinational agency, Johann-Dietrich Woerner, said the village would "serve science, business, tourism and even mining purposes." He said the village could replace the International Space Station in the future. So a new period is coming. The ISS has been continuously occupied since 2000. The agency mentioned that it is going to contain a 20 year period. He emphasized that they don’t need a big amount of funding at the beginning and they could start with a small landing mission which many countries are already planning. Ofcourse having a permanent human presence on moon could be enough risky because of cosmic radiation, micrometeorites, and extreme temperatures which can range from 253 degrees F (123 C) to minus 243 F (minus 153 C). But Woerner said these risks can be minimized and they would have places where they don't have the radiation. To conclude some countries might also be interested in mining for rare earth elements and helium on the Moon.

So, this week, it is a big pleasure for me to write about Batman vs. Superman. I’m a fan of both Marvel and DC. Big time. Before beginning to criticize by any dimension, firstly we all are pretty sure that the expectations for the film is really high. The film was a masterpiece for me. I love all of those kind of movies (including green lantern, which was a failure). Rotten Tomatoes is a site for movies criticism and gives points and percentages like IMDB. So BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE got 29% from the site. When I saw that number, I thought it was underrated. Of course the movie might be slightly below our expectations but 29% is nonsense. As audience score, it got 73% from that site. IMDB point is 7.5. So the movie was slightly overrated but still, who gives a damn? It’s BATMAN V SUPERMAN! If we return to the subject, Dawn of Justice has taken $424m (£300m) at the box office worldwide in its first five days despite poor reviews. That is a huge number. The global total - the fourth-highest ever - included $170.1m in the United States, a record for a March debut and the sixth-highest US opening weekend. (http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/weekends/ ) The film had been widely praised by fans after its first screening in New York in mid-March, but received less glowing reviews from critics. Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst for comScore, said: "It proves that the concept is bigger than negative reviews. There was no way that if you're a comic book fan or just a movie fan that you're going to miss out on a match-up of such iconic characters. Audiences have to see the movie for themselves.'' Dawn of Justice opened on more than 40,000 screens in 66 markets, including 16,000 in China, 4,242 in the US, 1,701 in the UK and 1,696 in South Korea. She talks about how this week became global and inspired, inspires and will inspire many youngsters.
I agree with her and feel that Fashion Week's are times for people to dream and wish. They give many young ladies and gentlemen a dream. And a dream is a wish that heart makes so they definitely play a huge role in our lives. As a person who's been to various fashion weeks including the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week that recently took place in Turkey, I must say that they are a great aspiration in life.

"Facebook has apologized after its Safety Check system wrongly asked people if they were caught in a bomb attack in Pakistan."
Facebook started to use “The Safety Check System” more widely after being blamed about when it was employed. The reason why the criticism came up was Facebook’s discriminatory behavior on using the system. While Facebook didn’t do anything about the attacks in Beirut or Turkey, they began using the system after the suicide attack in Paris.
The Safety Check system is basically created to be a quick way for members of the social network to inform each other if they are safe or not. The system was supposed to inform people who are close to that natural disaster or attack. But after the bomb attack in Pakistan, the system didn’t work out that way.
After the notifications came from Facebook, many users became scared because of the message that they received, which asks to users “Are you affected by the explosion?” The problem was, this message was sent to a lot of people from all over the world who has no connection with that event and far away from it. After these, Facebook blamed a "bug" for the warnings sent to people thousands of miles away from Pakistan.

Last week was quite scary for the future of humanity. There was a bomb exploded in Belgium. All of the world talks about the bomb in Belgium. They do not care about Turkey or Pakistan. But they are right because Turks and Pakistanis are not people. Anyway the topic of this post is about the bomb in Belgium. There are some improvements about the incident. The terrorist in the airport of Brussels seen wearing light-coloured clothing and a hat. The Belgian Crisis Centre said it had revised the death toll up to 35 after four people died of their injuries in hospital. The attacks were claimed by Islamic State (IS). It is so sad to hear that the innocent civilian population died. They are not responsible about the new world. There are some countries that want to provide some interest. They are responsible for the bloods. They just kill civilian population to get rich. This is unacceptable because these countries will not stop. One day we can be same with Syrians. It is really traumatic to grow up in the bombs and fires. The new generation is frightened and there are millions of them. At least we can try to do something for them.

Hello everyone, Since it's Easter time, I thought it would be nice to read an article about it. Apparently, the first Easter egg ever was created in 1979 but not the kind that children hunt. This tradition of hiding stuff like hidden messages or inside jokes in the eggs is ancient and it goes back to early Christians in Mesopotamia.
We can see some secretly planted Easter eggs in the history of art. The photo is a sculpture of Pamela, a sea lion at the Hanover Zoo in Germany trying to balance an oversized Easter egg on her head.The colourful ovoid is suspended like a planet hoisted gracefully in the firmament, reminding us that life’s precarious beauty and fragile joy are often to be found staring us right in the eyes if we just know where to look. An other example of hidden Easter egg is in in The Garden of Earthly Delights, a painting by the early Netherlandish painter Hieronymus Bosch.
