BBC News Boko Haram crisis: Cameroon troops 'free 900 hostages' December 2nd 2015 22.54
Hello all, The situation that has been going on in Cameroon for quite a long time, is still continuing. Boko Haram, the Nigerian Islamist militant group was capturing many people for a long time and recently, it has been announced that the troops have freed 900 hostages that were captured, Cameroon's defense minister has announced. Because of the current situations that the world is facing with Middle East, Turkey and Russia, the world has become unaware of the other problems. Cameroon Crisis is a problem that the UN has been trying to deal with for almost more than 5 years and unfortunately has not come to an end. Even though Cameroon's defence minister Joseph Beti Assomo said his forces had also killed around 100 Boko Haram members at the end of November, it is not the end. The world has to take care about everything which is extremely hard but not impossible. We can do this, the world can do this. Focusing on solving situations instead of making more mess will be our ticket out of this whole problem. At least 17,000 people have been killed and 2,000 abducted since Boko Haram launched its insurgency in 2009, according to Amnesty International. This is a nightmare but it is time to wake up and open our eyes at a better world.

Hello, (from the other side) With being so depressed and under pressure because of the recent events, I have decided that my second entry should be about something more joyful and less serious. Elizabeth Taylor was not only a British-American actress but also a businesswoman and humanitarian. Even though most people do not like her, since I was a little kid I always idolized her and saw her as the perfect woman. The fact that she did seven marriages or that she changed her religion just for her husband or anything else, does not have any meaning for me because she survived many things, people can not survive nowadays. The video I watched was about Elizabeth Taylor's home and how her home was actually representing the inner-self she had, rather than the way she looked or acted. This woman who contributed so many greatness to this world, is unfortunately not here with us anymore, her presence still remain in our hearts, with her beautiful violet eyes.
This video was very empowering because it showed the humbleness of Liz Taylor's personality and how the way she lives is actually who she is. May she rest in peace. She will be remembered not only for her beautiful jewelry, her AIDS but how a divine person she was.
The Real News Thursday, December3 2015 Reporter: Sharmin Peries 2015 Climate Summit in Paris
From the perspective of the interviewees, this may be the last chance world leaders can positively affect change in order to save the planet. There were 2000 events worldwide and over 570,000 people protesting to demand action on the part of the world leaders. Climate change is here and it is clearly affecting our loves. The main issue in the world is that it is the poorer countries who are the most impacted; ironically, it is also the poorer countries who are the least responsible. President Obama delivered a speech to address the issue and he promised to take responsibility and to take action; however, the question posed by the interviewees is whether or not the US is actually undermining a collective, global effort? It is clear that the US will only take actions that are of interest to the US. In general, the developed countries, like the US, are not really taking these initiatives seriously, especially because there is no globally recognized, binding treaty that will hold governments accountable. The bottom line is, the world needs to move off of fossil fuels, leave them in the ground, and move toward safe, clean, and renewable energy sources. But will this happen? It is not necessarily in the interests of big business to do this. Countries are acknowledging the science and the reality of climate change, but not really doing anything about it. It is more about the appearance of action than the reality of action. Governments and world leaders, like Obama, are posturing in order to appear globally minded because that is the current trend. The realiy is much different.
Wealthiest 20 Americans Have More Wealth Than the Entire GDP of India The Real News Saturday, December 5th
In this report, the attempt is to become aware of what is happening in the world and how the world is not equal. There’s an interview with Josh Hoxie who is the director of the project. As it can be seen from the title, wealthiest 20 Americans have more wealth than the entire GDP of India. GDP is a measure of the value of all final goods and services produced in period of time. Considering that India is one of the biggest countries in the world(7th largest economy and 2nd highest population) it is a shame that a country’s economy is worth 20 people just in States. This is the consequence of capitalism in USA. Josh's main focus is on addressing wealth inequality through the estate tax, a levy on the intergenerational transfer of immense wealth. Be aware, take action.
BBC News Storm Desmond: River levels set to peak as rain subsides Saturday December 6th This report attempts to analyse the damages in Cumbria, England and in Scottish border. More than 1,000 people have been evacuated from their homes. Many roads and trains services running between England and Scotland are closed. The military personnel brought in to help the people. 90 years old man died in London because of flood waters. More than 60,000 residents are without power in Cumbria. Cumbria is the worst affected area so the government has opened eight rescue centres. It’s too bad to hear this news from one of the most developed countries. If a country which has very good infrastructure experience this problem of flood waters. What about the Africa? Climate is changing what if Africa starts to get lots of rain. This may be reason of massacre. We should find a way to stop flood waters since we need it to stop the deaths.
BBC News San Bernardino Attack: US 'will not be terrorised'-Obama Sunday, December 6th Last week, 14 people were killed in California, US by a mass shooting. At first, US officials said that they did not have any clue whether it's a terrorist action or not. However, later IS announced that the action was done by their two supporters. Here, in this news, US President Obama says that US will not be terrorised by the terrorist actions. I totally agree with him because the terrorist groups aim to create terror amongst the civil people. They bomb public areas like in Ankara, Paris, and shoot civil people as they did finally in California. They want to detach civil people's ties with life. They don't want them to go to public areas like shopping centers, concerts, soccer matches, restaurant etc. so that they make them imprisoned at their houses with intimidation. Civil forces need to work together to prevent people from falling victim to the hateful ideologies as Mr. Obama says.
BBC News South Korea protests: Huge anti-government rally in Seoul Sunday, December 6th People want more democracy all over the world. However, less democracy and anti-democratic actions are being implemented in many countries. South Korea is one of these countries. The government had some policies which weaken democracy such as making it easier to sack workers and have to control over the publication of history books which claim truths about the past. Recently, protestors came together in a mass rally to object and protest such implementions. I believe democracy will get stronger with the efforts and struggle of people all over the world.

"Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho admitted his team might not be able to qualify for next season's Champions League after losing 1-0 at home to Bournemouth." Last week, Chelsea had their eight defeat in fifteen Barclays Premier League match, which puts them three points above the relegation zone and 17 points behind leaders Leicester. . Mourinho said that their objective was to finish at top four. By believing in their squad's quality, he was thinking of getting out of that position. He also added that they have to think about top six from now on. He was concerned that Chelsea will be fighting relegation.
He also commented on Bournemouth defeat. He clamed about the penalty that the referee didn't give. "We didn't deserve to lose," the Portuguese said. "Our opponent - in the period that they thought only of defence - managed to get a goal and there was a clear mistake from the referee." He also clamed about the time taken by the Bournemouth players. It was intelligence for some people, but it was not a fair play for other people. About Bournemouth's goal, Mourinho commented: "If it was offside it is another episode that goes against us, but I did not see it."
BBC News Porsche to make electric sports car in €700m project Friday, December 4th This report is a good news for everybody not just for car fanatics. The German firm, Porche, has given the green light to build an all-electric supercar aimed at challenging Tesla’s dominance of the battery-powered sports car market. Porche said it will create at least 1000 jobs which is really good for German people. I said that this car will be a super car but still this car will have four doors. So this car will be a family car as well as a track car. Normally cars designed for racing consume too much fuel which is an expansive energy source. This car won’t have a fuel tank instead it will have a huge battery which will have enough power for %80 of its mileage range just after 15 minutes of charging. That’s real not a joke because this car will have 800-volt charging unit specially developed for quick charge this vehicle. This is great because electricity is cheaper than fuel. Lastly, I think that this is an all-in-one car for anyone if they got enough money to buy one of this.

Migrants from Iraq and Afghanistan who are running from IS and Taliban are trying to go to Serbia passing through Bulgaria. These people are running away from the brutal regime of Taliban and they are seeking for refuge in Europe. Unfortunately, this journey is dangerous and most of the migrants are young and vulnerable. According to the news, these people are treated really badly in during their time in Bulgaria. They also face cold weather and hunger. Luckily, volunteers from the No Borders group help these people. These people have to pass the Turkish border to go to Bulgaria and there are surveillance cameras and razor wire fences. I believe that the migrants have to be treated better because they deserve a better life. But they also have to do something good for the country that they want to live in. Bulgarians should stop throwing migrants in jail and leave them without enough food. They have to treat the migrants better. Also, Europe pays Turkey so that they keep the migrants in our country. I believe that this is a wrong policy. European countries have to let migrants into their countries. They are the powerful countries, they can take some responsibility. These European countries always talk about human rights. Now it is time for them to show that they actually support these rights.

Opinion polls say that there will be a dominant far-right National Front (FN). However the former president Nicolas Sarkozy says that he is going to win in most regions because of the Socialist Party. "Both Mr Sarkozy's party, The Republicans, and the FN appear to be heading for about 30% of votes, according to opinion polls. The government's response to the Paris attacks has boosted President Francois Hollande's approval ratings - they have soared more than 30 percentage points to 50%." The prime minister Manuel Valls is trying to up their vote count by a rally on "appeal to patriotism" Assemblies are being elected in the 13 regions of metropolitan France and in four overseas territories.

After every internet site started to do a live stream.Facebook thought "Why don't we do?"but it is a really expensive thing to do because like last year Amazon paid 1 billion dolars to Twitch,live streaming game site,Facebook said: "Live lets you show the people you care about what you're seeing in real time - whether visiting a new place, cooking your favourite recipe or just want to share some thoughts."I think this new work is awesome and really usefull and I think they did this because facebook users decrased from several years before because new and better internet sites started to appear.

This article is about the children that raised by animals. Basically, there are seven examples of these children. First one is Oxana Malaya from Ukraine. They found Oxana in a kennel with dogs in 1991. People aren't sure what happened exactly but she lived with dogs for six years. She was just 8 years old when she started to live with them.A prediction says that her parents were alcoholics and one night, they had left her outside. She had to act like dogs to stay alive. Because of her lack of human interaction, she only knew the words ‘yes’ and ‘no’.” Oxana now lives in a clinic in Odessa, working with the hospital’s farm animals.
The other child is Shamdeo, a boy who was found in a forest in India in 1972 had to fight withe the other animals to eat food and survive. He started to eat chicken and his body started to change. Plus, he was craving for blood. So, he started to adapt while the time was ticking through. Marina Chapman and John Ssebunya lived with monkeys. John ran away because he saw his dad killing his mom, when he was five years old. He had some physical and mental problems because of living in a jungle with monkeys. In the other hand, Marina kidnapped when she was five and the kidnappers left her in a jungle. After this big trauma, she tried to live like a monkey. She ate the bananas with the help of the monkeys and slept with them. Then, monkeys got used to her and they started to pulling lice out of her hair and treating her like a monkey. Madina's mother was an alcoholic and her father left her when she was born. Her mom feed her with the leftover bones with the dogs. In winter time, she was out with other dogs and freezing. Madina lived with dogs from birth until she was three years old, sharing their food and playing with them. When social workers found her in 2013, she was naked, walking on all fours and growling like a dog.

This article is about the attack that killed the governor of Aden in Yemen today. Apparently the Islamic State is taking responsibility for the attack. Jaafar Mohammed Saad and six of his aides were killed by a car bomb as he was headed to work. The BBC adds that with the help of the Saudi-led coalition, Aden was recaptured by the government forces earlier this year. "The BBC's Arab affairs editor Sebastian Usher says the killing of Mr Saad is a blow to Saudi-led efforts to re-establish Aden as a secure base for the government which spent months in exile in Saudi Arabia. "Mr Saad was a significant figure not just as the administrative head of Aden, but for the role he played in driving Houthi rebels out of the port city earlier this year, our correspondent says. BBC also reports that “Aden has remained vulnerable to violence with jihadists carrying out regular attacks. The claim by IS introduces another dangerous factor into the equation, our correspondent says, because like the long established al-Qaeda franchise in Yemen, IS has gained strength from the violence and chaos of the past nine months of all-out conflict."

"The BBC's Arab affairs editor Sebastian Usher says the killing of Mr Saad is a blow to Saudi-led efforts to re-establish Aden as a secure base for the government which spent months in exile in Saudi Arabia.
"Mr Saad was a significant figure not just as the administrative head of Aden, but for the role he played in driving Houthi rebels out of the port city earlier this year, our correspondent says.
BBC also reports that “Aden has remained vulnerable to violence with jihadists carrying out regular attacks. The claim by IS introduces another dangerous factor into the equation, our correspondent says, because like the long established al-Qaeda franchise in Yemen, IS has gained strength from the violence and chaos of the past nine months of all-out conflict."
