İs it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society's views? İt's not fair to ask someone to change their personality to fit society but if the person wants to succeed in a job that requires a social relationship then its a necessity to change in order for him or her to succeed in life. But what about having an original personality and trying to make people accept you the way you are then in this case its not fair for your parents or friends to tell you to change your personality. Why are extroverts valued over introverts? To some degree it's in our cultural DNA. But this really reached to the top when we moved from an agricultural society into the world of big business. And that's when it really became the case that to stand out and succeed in a company, with people that you had never met before, the quality of being very magnetic, very charismatic in a job interview suddenly became very important. This happened at the turn of the 20th century. And, it was some what coincidentally some what not, accompanied by the rise of the cinema and the idea of movie stars. And so movie stars became the ultimate guide on how to be magnetic and charismatic.
1- What challenges do introverts face in out society?
They struggle to show what they are capable of to other people. That's why their lives are really hard compared to extrovert people. Holden is an introvert. He doesn't like "phony" attitude. He thinks that he is stuck with phonies and can not clarify himself to other people. He thinks that no one understands him and has his own world. Introverts are also being excluded from the society by extrovert people because they are not the people who they really are in societies perspective.
2- Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society's views?
It is obviously not fair but people have to change and do things that they are not comfortable with in order to have a place in the society whether they like it or not. People should be as they are and not worry about being excluded. They will eventually find someone that understands them and cares about them as they are. They won't force that person to be someone that he/she is not.
Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert?
I think that through the whole story we can see that Holden is a introvert character by looking and observing his actions. Firstly, he is not whiny. He is struggling and trying to deal with so many problems. For example; he is trying to get over his brother's death. He feels responsible more than anyone else for the things that are happening around him. These are the reasons why he is an introvert person.
2. Is it healthy for Holden to spend some much time thinking on his own?
Personally, I think that Holden should not spend so much time thinking on his own. There are some reasons about why I think like this. First of all If he always thinks about himself and his problems, then he will feel depressed and stressed for no reason. Another reason why I think he should spend some time thinking other things than himself is, he will not realize things going around him because of thinking on his own.
The protagonist and narrator of the novel is Holden Caulfield. He is intelligent and sensitive. He finds the hypocrisy and ugliness of the world around him almost unbearable, and through his cynicism he tries to protect himself from the pain and disappointment of the adult world. He is uncomfortable with his own weaknesses. According to his personal qualities he is an introvert person.
I think that thinking by himself and spending too much time alone makes him an introvert person but it probably makes him smarter. People don't think too much because they try to catch life but he does think so that makes him question everything. When it comes to psychological health it would be better for him to share his feelings and opinions with other people but what he does is not a unhealthy way.

But in real world we are the just actors and actress. So, he refuse to be a actor and make his own world because real world and society is too brutal for him . And he is not so good at communicating with people. Extrovert peoples are good at communication.

But introverts are not like them. Both sides have good and bad peoples. But their reactions are so much different.
Catcher in the Rye Interview Practice 1) Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert? I think Holden is an introvert. He identifies a lot of people as phony and he is exhausted of phonies. Actually, phonies are the reason he gets kicked out of all those schools. Maybe the reason he is so obsessed with everyone being phony is because it is his way of saying he gets exhausted talking or seeing people. And this is the exact meaning of introvert.
6) Why are extroverts valued over introverts? That is because extroverts can make people like themselves faster. It will take just a couple of minutes for extroverts to start up a good conversation. For introverts to make people like themselves, they would have to know them really well, because they talk comfortably only with people they know really well. As a result, most people think extroverts are better people.
Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society's views?
Every single people wants to be active on society, and never want to be excluded from there. Thats why they always try to fit into society. But they should be theirself, and shouldn't change themselves. There is a great motto for this topic. Just be yourself! Otherwise you will feel so sad.

In the book Holden is trying to look like an extrovert person. He hangs out with girls, but at the end he always failed in his relationships. Even though he tries to look like and extrovert person, he is a total introvert guy. Not just he is having problems with girls, he has very serious problems with his boy friends.
1- Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert? I think Holden is an introvert because he doesn't really like people. He always predict their personalities which isn't a good thing to do. We can always see that he is always alone by him self with his own will. I can connect this with J.D.Salinger was being introvert to. J.D.Salinger always stayed mysterious he wasn't open to society and he kept his thing to him self. So I can say that J.D.Salinger could be Holden or some kind of a different person with a different personality. 2-What challenges do introverts face in our society? Introverts are close to them selves and they won't open to other people so that other people can predict who they are from how they look. 1) Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert? While reading the book, this was a question that I had in mind, and now when analysing it, I think that Holden is a character that prefers to retreat mentally. He locks himself out of the world, calling people who he thinks are not authentic or who follow trends and do not think for themselves "phonies". This shows his accumulated anger inside against the world. Holden also prefers being alone and doesn't like people much, judging them all the time in his mind.
2) Is it healthy for Holden to spend so much time thinking on his own? I think that it's healthy and at the same time unhealthy to spend so much time thinking by yourself. The healthy part of thinking on your own - even though it punches you in the face - is your face reality and embrace yourself for the truth. The unhealthy part? This whole process can be extremely stressful and even depress you, which in this case happens to Holden. To conclude, if you do not face reality, you won't grow up.
1)Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert? I think Holden is an introvert person because he is tired of phony people and he is tired of all these bad parts of the world. He wants to run away from these. Even he talks to people I think this tiredness from the people made him introvert person. He wants to be independence because of all of the ugliness in the world. I think being introvert make him feel safe.
2)Is it fair to ask person to change their personality to fit society’s views? It is good to get along well with lots of people, but changing personalities to fit society’s views is wrong. Because fitting in means you should behave the way what the others want, not what you want. Otherwise, it is like you are living other people’s life, not your’s. Asking people to change their personalities is worst because it is disrespectful. You can’t make people to change for some other thing. Just because society likes something doesn’t mean that the person you want to change is liking it too. People shouldn’t be judged because of their personalities. Everyone is different. If everyone changed for society’s views everyone wold be the same and no other thoughts would be existed.
Question 8 : İt is fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society's views ?
I think no because all of the people around us has different personality and physical appearance. That makes people different from every single one of them. So if you change your personality or character you are not unique anymore. You really don't do that but if you are really want to change your character be hesitate. If the society accepts you what you are and what you do right now, thats the right society you're in.
Question 2 : Is it healthy for Holden to spend so much time thinking on his own ?
Being alone varies to people to people. Some of the people wants to be alone and they have their energy back like that but some kind of people are having fun with another people. I thin for holden being alone is good because other people around him triggered him and he is frustrated. For him being alone is like a medicine keeps him calm.
Question 5: What challenges do introverts face in our society ?
Introverts are facing many problems in our society and they have not got a lot of friends around them. Mostly they are alone in addition they are passive than people in our society, they condemned to be crushed because they can not express themselves but independently of these, sometimes it works because you have fewer problems than other people and you don’t have to suffer for that. But unfortunately at work and in competing areas they are invisible for other people, even if you are better then them.
Question8: Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society’s views ?
I think this is absolutely wrong because all people have different characters and the volition and also every individual is singular, there is no equivalent. This is a constant fact for all people. Society may not accept a person the way she or he it is but instead discriminate him for his or hers different personality traits. Society is a harsh environment to live in but you have to adapt in order to survive.
What challenges do introverts face in our society According to my researches, introvert people generally face the challenges which are caused by being misunderstood. Firstly, their internal questioning goes so deep that is why sometimes they don't share their inferences with others, so by examining these situations it is easy to call them rude or indifferent. They have to face to be the victim of misdetection of another people. At the same time society perceive introverts as the ones who in need of help. Thus, they constantly get suggestions based on the aim of integrating them to social life. Actually this is a very tiring thing for their psychosocial health. For another example, they usually don't make an influencing first impression because of their frosty attitude, so the possibility for them to be choosen for anything is much less than normal. For the last and biggest example, they have to face the discrimination and marginalization in the society. But I believe that there should be understanding platform for them to express themselves totally.
Why are extroverts valued over introverts?
Because being in interaction with others feels them closer to each other. On the other hand, people inclined to think that extroverts are more sympathetic that's why they maintain relationships with them and value them. At the same time extravert people express their thoughts and feeling very clearly and sheerly, so they create very reliable profiles. Another example to clarify why they are valued over introverts is they like to contribute and to be nested.
Is it healthy for Holden to spend some much time thinking on his own? It’s not healthy for Holden to spend too much time thinking on his own, it’s not healthy for any teeneager. Growing up can be tragic for any teenager and it’s tragic for Holden too. He has lots of troubles that is going through his mind and he literally runs away from them. But that is not healthy and it’s not a solution at all. As a teenager, he has to solve these problems, if needed he has to get some help from his family or a professional. If he doesn’t gets help, Holden can mess his life and make a mistake that he can suffer from this mistake for life long.
Dou you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert? Holden is absolutely an introvert character. He enjoys having time to himself. He prefers not to engage with people and he has reasons to himself like classifying them as phonies. But introvert people’s best thinking occurs when they’re by themselves. When Holden is by himself he messes everything but when his sister Phoebe comes, he makes better decisions. Holden was thinking about running away than Phoebe says that she wants to come too. Holden then gives up on running away because he can’t let Phoebe run away with him because he knows this will have a bad influence on Phoebe. As a result, Holden shows both characteristic of introvert and extrovert but he is mostly introvert.
Can you think of other texts that feature introverts?
Yes, I can think of some. For example Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina, Rabih Alameddine's An Unnecessary Woman
How are introverts portrayed in other texts?
In the novel Anna Karenina I saw Levin as a classic introvert, He is happiest when he is alone to contemplate the world, engaged with thoughts that are often in contradiction with traditional wisdom. He avoids the city at all costs, preferring the solitude and authenticity of the countryside.
Aaliya is a divorced and she doesn’t have any kids. She is 72-year-old with an insightful sense of humor. She lives alone in her apartment in Beirut. She has spent her entire grown up life working in a bookstore, reading, and translating her favorite books into Arabic. No one has ever read these translations; they are stored in cardboard boxes in the unused maid’s room. To an outsider, her life would seem lonely, but her sharp mind is filled with the books and authors she has read. She describes how it feels to fall in love with a book: “the first crush all over again, the smile of the soul.” After a particularly taxing encounter, she feels as if “being around so many people yesterday unhinged me, unhinged my soul.” The only conversations she enjoys are those with her close friend, Hannah; a young boy who frequented and ended up working at the store, Ahmed; and eventually, with her neighbours, ‘the three witches.’
I think it is obvious that Holden Caulfield has an introvert characteristic because he spends a lot of time thinking and doesn’t talk about his internal conflicts with other people. The main things that bother him are the people around him being inauthentic, his little brother Allie, and the fact that he still hasn’t lost his virginity. The audience can understand how big those problems are for Holden as he constantly talks to the reader throughout the book, and because he doesn’t share his thoughts with anybody, it can be said that he’s an introvert person.
Is thinking too much unhealthy for Holden? (Question 2)
Thinking too much is certainly unhealthy for Holden because his wishes and complains about the people around him, his sex life, and the absence of his brother Allie slowly become an obsession and drains him from the inside. Evidence in the book show that his thinking habit is harmful to him in both physical and psychological ways. The physical damage can be seen when Holden and Stradlater fight, (the reason why they fight is because Stradlater doesn’t tell him anything about Jane Gallagher and he gets mad; smokes a cigarette in the room to show him that he’s upset. This happens because he’s obsessed with Jane Gallagher as well, in a sexual way.) and it is obvious that his obsessions harm him physically when he smokes a cigarette under the influence of his thoughts.
Is it healthy for holden to spend so much time thinking on his own?
2) Holden is an introvert person and throughout the book it is possible to observe him constantly having strong opinions about certain subjects and thinking that he is 100% right. It is definitely not healthy for him to spend as much time that he does thinking on his own since his lack of interference with other people causes him to be unaware of other perspectives which results in him thinking that he knows the correct answer to most things.
Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society's views?
8) Today’s society effects everyones lives with the help of the media. People are constantly forced to fit the nonexistent “perfect” standards of our community whilst being forced to push down and suppress their true identity. It is not fair to ask someone to change their personality to become “normal” or ordinary or simply to fit society's views because there is no such thing as “being normal”, every single person is normal in their own way and these standards determined by the media should not be pursued. The urge to fit these views disrupt the authenticity and creativity of the people.
-What challenges do intoverts face in our society? In our society obviously the biggest challenge for introverts is that socializing or fitting the community around them is way harder for them compared to extroverts. This fact most of the time can affect the whole lives of introverts because even if they manage to socialize at the end they will find themselves exhausted.
-Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society's views? I don't think it is fair at all but if a person wants to be accepted by the society there is no other chance for them. They either change their personality to fit or they can find another society. Both of the ways are not easy or fair. Besides, wanting to change their character from a person will break him/her because I don't think changing your personality is very possible.
1)Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert? I believe that Holden is more of an introvert than he is an extrovert. Even though he is sometimes in need of companionship, he feels better when he is with a small group of people he is comfortable with, such as her little sister Phoebe. Him being an introvert can be seen as a reason to why he decided to stay in a hotel instead of going home early, to stay alone and get energized.
2)Is it healthy for Holden to spend so much time thinking on his own? It is healthy to think on your own to an extent but if you don’t know when to stop and have a conversation with someone to clear your mind or to share, you might get into some dark places in your own thoughts. What Holden does is healthy in its own way because he is sharing his thoughts with other people without noticing. He talks with the two nuns and horses around to clear off his mind and he talks to his teachers and his little sister to share the things that are going on in his mind.
1) Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert?
I think Holden is an introvert person. There are many reasons that shows Holden is introvert, like he bewared to go next to the Jean Gallagher and said that he wasn’t in mood. In the other hand, he isn’t feel close to someone, he evaluates people as phony. Also we see that he has some justified reasons to be introvert. His brother was dead so we can say that causes childhood trauma also he has some low grades causes to be fired from school. These could be reason for him to be shy a little.
6) What challenges do introverts face in our society?
In our society introverts has some problems with more powerful people. They undergo tyranny and underestimate from others as happens to Holden in the book. Strong and overbearing people always manage others so that makes introverts shy. It’s similar to Holden’s friends that applying brute force to him. That force makes powerless people shy and introvert.
Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society's views? It is clearly not fair to expect someone to change theirselves and their personality to fit society. Unfortunately it is part of growing-up, and your age and situation is all about "fitting-in". To successful in life it is necessary to accommodate to relationships . People should not change theirselves and should not pretend like someone else. They should be as they are.Everyone in the world can not adapt to each other. They should convince people and try them to accept you the way you really are.
What challenges do introverts face in our society? It is very common for introverts to be told that they are wrong for being how they are, and that they should be different.there are lots of introverts who face the same challenges every single day in their struggle in the extroverted society. Many introverts are being pushed around from the society . That makes them shy, lonely, silent and powerless.
Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert?
In my opinion, he is an introvert because he analyzes stuff in the anxiety level and also shows the social anxiety symptoms. He enjoys being alone because this is what gives him a breath of relief. He recharges himself while being alone; gets drunk by himself, reads books by himself and travels alone. It doesn’t mean he does not like to socialize but he obviously finds many people stupid because of their behaviours.
Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society’s views?
It is never fair at all because people get anxiety after this and start to show symptoms of depression. To change a person her/himself is the society getting its form to just only one shape instead of accepting other shapes and forms. Of course crowded populations and peer groups do have qualifications and requirements that people should obey to but the ones who do not want to change only for that should not let go of the sparkle their soul have because not being yourself and behaving like you are someone else is whole a lot of work, in addition it will get you nowhere while making you unhappy.
• Is it healthy for Holden to spend some much time thinking on his own? There are two sides of this question. Some people prefer being happy without facing the harsh realities that the life brings, and don’t care if they are living in a huge lie, as long as it doesn’t bother them. In contrast, some people prefer thinking and philosophizing so much that they become depressed due to knowing too much. It is likely for them to isolate themselves from the outer world. Both scenarios are harmful in its extreme forms, so finding your balance is important. Holden is closer to the second case; however, he isn’t an anti-social, contrary to the popular opinion. As the reader, I think the way he thinks “too much” is a trait in his personality, and it is what makes him special. • Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society’s view? If you are the “shy type” that doesn’t talk much, you are counted as a “loser”, and if you like sharing and socializing too much, you can be defined as “babbler mouthed”. Either ways, pleasing people is impossible. Nowadays, expectations of the society are shaped by the media, TV, and magazines. Fashion industry changes each and every month, and what is considered “hot” isn’t permanent. In this case, trying to keep up with all these standards, and not feeling insecure is difficult. Diversity, and originality no longer exists; only thing that no one can copy from you is your personality. So, expressing feelings and thoughts truly, is what separates one from others.
Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert?
Holden is an introvert character. He questions his family, his relationships with other people, his education basically his life. But even though he has some friends, he prefers not to share his opinions and thinkings with them. He judges himself and all the other comments are pointless for him. In chapter one Holden says “It was kind of a crazy afternoon, terrifically cold, and no sun out or anything, and you felt like you were disappearing every time you crossed a road.” What I understand from this sentence is that Holden is feeling extremely lonely and meaningless because he is going to leave his school, his family and his friends, even if he likes them or not. But he prefers not to share this feeling with a family member or a friend, he rather keeps it to himself.
Is it healthy for Holden to spend some much time thinking on his own?
In my opinion, being an introvert and spend so much time thinking on his own put a lot of pressure on Holden and aren’t good for his health. Because, he is challenging himself everytime he thinks about a topic deeply. He loses himself in thoughts and that makes him feel sad and depressed.
+Do you think Holden is introvert or extrovert? I would say Holden is an introvert person. He labels most of the people around him as “phonies”, and he is extremely tired of building fake relationships with fake people, therefore he spends significant time thinking on his own which eventually leads to depression. He prefers to run away from people instead of facing them. He has better relationships with kids rather than adults because he feels more comfortable since they aren’t hypocritical and self-seeking. Another thing is he enjoys talking to himself while he’s lacking companionship, which is actually most of the time, and having hardships with fitting in large groups.
+Is it healthy for Holden to spend so much time thinking on his own? No it’s apparently not. Throughout the novel, it can be seen that Holden is going through a lot of depression and stress which is caused by him thinking on his own excessively. Overthinking makes him unsatisfied with his life, he complains practically everything and he starts to not take pleasure with what he’s being doing. Moreover, he believes his opinions are true without no doubt, leading him to be unaware of other perspectives and abstracts him from the real world.
- Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extravert? Holden is a character who thinks about life, his life and other deep things a lot. Throughout the novel, he meets many people that he knew from his past but it is obvious that he spends a lot of time alone, thinking, and he also likes it. Holden be happy and relax by himself and that’s the reason he is an introvert person. He likes being alone and doesn’t share his own thoughts with people very much.
- Is it fair to ask person to change their personality to fit society’s views? Being part of a society requires few things from people to be accepted and fit in but it is not right to ask people to change to fit in. People have different characteristics and that’s what makes a society more valuable. Unfortunately some people are being outcasted because of their personalities and it is not fair. People should live in the way they want to live and expecting more from them only makes them feel outcasted and lonely.
1) Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extravert?
As a narrator we see Holden dominantly as an introvert character. Holden got enough of the phony characters around him. Till the end of the book he criticize them. The conversation with the mother of a student from his school is an example of it. He tells lies about her son because that’s what she wants to hear. Holden wants people to be authentic so most of the time doesn’t prefer to talk with them and tries to act alone. These thoughts in his minds may lead him to go crazy and I think that he ends up in a psychologist. At the beginning we see that he start a conversation with someone starts to tell what happened till the beginning of the final chapter.
2)What challenges do introverts face in our society?
Most of the time introvert people gets alienated from the society because they want to act individually but extrovert people acts as a group all the time. In our society mostly everybody is extrovert so when they see an introvert someone they tease them or they make that person hate them. The introvert people have a hard time while solving problems in their daily life because the mostly don’t want to consult others.

2) Is it healthy for Holden to spend some much time thinking in his own?
In my opinion not even Holden, people should not spend to much thinking in his own. We, homo sapiens have common feature which is curiosity. For us we need to know everything and we do not know how to content with it. This cause us to think over and over about the topic that we stuck in our mind. In the novel although Holden was top of the cliff already, his need to see the beyond the cliff almost would kill him. We do understand immediately that Holden is overthinking from the first chapter. He questions everything in his life which hurts himself. Questioning is decent and people should question in order to realize what they are live for but especially people like Holden, no. Instead of going realization, they would go dissolution.
8)Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society`s views?
This is one of the main society problems that people are struggling right now. Firstly, we are in a world that people take parts in people’s decisions, rights without asking or thinking. This is absolutely unacceptable. Everyone have different perspectives to live, you cannot look from the same window with an artist or a boy in puberty. Even the things you say would be good for him/her in the future, for that moment it will prepossess his mind and he would think he should change something on him which is personality. It is not fair people change someone`s personality to fit society’s views. You have no right to say anything which will prepossess his mind. We saw what happened when people did in the novel. Maybe Holden would not be on that cliff if people tried the change him.
1. Do you think Holden is an extrovert or an intorvert? I think Holden is introvert. Throught the story we can see in so many ways that Holden is going through some stuff on his own. He deals with his problems all by himself, only needing company to keep his mind off of things time to time.
8. Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society’s views? I think it’s not fair to ask people to change their personality to fit in; because what makes life so enjoyable is the differences we have. If everyone changed themselves to fit in, what difference would we have from robots? In my opinion no one would like life without emotions and fun.

Humans are social species and they need to socialise at some point. It is okay to be alone and think on your own of course, but doing this so much can be harmful for our psychology. I think it’s not fair to ask people to change their personality to fit in, because to change an introvert character to a extravert is really a hard thing. He/she likes to hangout by himself/herself they does not like to be in crowded places you cannot change them. Finally the life is enjoyable that way, if everyone would be extravert or intravert it would not be fun.
1)Is it healthy for Holden to spend some much time thinking on his own? To me, it is not healthy to think so much on his own. Because also my father always tell me that “ Thinking is sinking.” Saying summarize my idea well. When you think to much by your own then so many other things are getting place in your mind and you struggle with them by your own and in a long time. So it will make you feel tired, depressed. Thinking is a non-ending path. Sometimes you should not think that much and let it go. Also, you will miss the moments. 2)What challenges do introverts face in out society? Our society is generally like to Show up and does not like the things that are not included fun. People likes to make friends, socializes, just having fun and not caring the rest etc. However, in society people consider the ones that are not doing these kind of things all the time as depressed, mean, unsocial etc. But this is how introverts are. They also like going out, having fun etc. But they feel tired after a time, and want to reload. So they will challenge with the comments about how they are and the meaningless questionings about the reaon of their acts, not being understand. So they will challenge with superficiallity.

1)Do you think Holden is introvert or extrovert?
I think Holden is introvert. For my opinion, we leave in two world one of them is our own world. We are the creators. But in real world we are the just actors and actress. So, he refuse to be a actor and make his own world because real world and society is too brutal for him . And he is not so good at communicating with people. Extrovert peoples are good at communication.
2) What challenges do introverts face in our society?
There is two type of character introverts and extraverts. Extraverts are the dominand one they are oppress introverts because they seem them like easy peace and they feed their egos. They refuse to play like them. Hurting people. In society generaly extraverts people are always want to prove something. They live differently, some of them do not want to hurt anyone but they are and they choose introverts. That call society. But introverts are not like them. Both sides have good and bad peoples. But their reactions are so much different.

1) Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert?
Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert?
Introverts are always hidden in the society you don't know who is Introvert or extrovert. Introvert people face that the fact that they are isolated from the society.

What challenges do introverts face in our society
According to my researches, introvert people generally face the challenges which are caused by being misunderstood.
Do you think Holden is introvert or extrovert?

“Do you think Holden is an intovert?”
The way Holden behaves and the way he has some kind of a brick wall between the outside world and himself,he prefers reading because books can’t and will never judge him, he is an introvert. Books are the safest castle for him and he doesn’t prefer to talk about himself with other people that’s why he shows the signs of an introvert.
“What problems introverts come across with in our society?”
Introvert people are actually afraid of opening up or because they’re afraid of the comments they’ll get. They usually read books or listen to music a lot often than others.

-I think it is not. Being alone so much is bad for human nature. Humans are social species and they need to socialise at some point. In addition thinking and doing only your own ideas can lead us to failures, in order to prevent these failures we need there people's opinions.

In order to change to world in a good way or improve ourselves we have to think different in at some point.
‘What makes the protagonist sympathetic, or unsympathetic? ‘ . I thınk the protagonist was unsympathetic when he ınsulted to religion when he was talking Ackley. The İmportant point is Ackley had strong beliefs and the protagonist know that. We didn’t have to believe religion but we should respect others believe.

1) Do you think Holden is an introvert or an extrovert?
I think Holden is an intrevert, because he always hangs out by himself and he does not have much friends. He likes to talk with himself. So he is an introvert
1) Is it fair to ask a person to change their personality to fit society’s views?
